Baoji High-Tech has recently launched the National Titanium Metal High-end Manufacturing Industrial Park project, with a total investment of 1.03 billion yuan. The project covers an area of 191.5 acres and aims to establish a complete titanium industry chain that will promote the development of the industry towards the application end. The project includes the construction of a National Titanium Business Center, R&D Center, and Green Recycling and Melting Center of Remaining Titanium, among others.
The project started construction in January 2023 and has already been put into production by November of the same year. This accelerated construction speed marks a milestone in quality development for Baoji High-Tech. What's more impressive is that it only took 3 days from land acquisition to start the construction, and only 10 months from start to complete production.
After the project is put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual comprehensive income of 1 billion yuan, create more than 300 new jobs, and form an annual recycling production capacity of processing 5,000 tons of different grades of residual titanium. The project aims to produce 8,000 tons of high-quality large-size titanium ingots annually. Moreover, it will have an annual output of titanium and titanium alloy forgings of 3000T, and 3000T of new energy titanium products.
This project is expected to enhance the manufacturing level of the titanium industry in Baoji, improve the expansion of titanium materials into the new energy field, and promote the high-quality development of Baoji's titanium industry chain towards the application end. This will eventually contribute to the growth of the local economy, as well as the region's emerging green energy industry.
